Not at all. The sound puzzle does the speaking for you — guiding your child with correct pronunciation and matching animal sounds, so they can learn independently or alongside you.

They’re both! Every Amerigahye puzzle blends play with learning — from vocabulary and memory building to cultural connection and early cognitive development.

When your child places a piece in the correct spot, the puzzle plays the Armenian pronunciation of the word along with the animal sound. This sound is triggered by a light sensor under the puzzle piece.

Yes. The sensor works best in well-lit rooms. Direct sunlight isn’t necessary, but avoid playing in dim areas or covering the puzzle while in use.

Each puzzle requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). They’re easy to replace and safely tucked away in a child-secure compartment on the back.

Yes. There's an on/off switch on the back so you can choose between sound-on learning or quiet play.
